Echmiadzin is one of the 12 capitals of Armenia. Echmiadzin is the religious center of Armenia.

Visit to the Zvartnots temple (temple of heavenly angels) which was built in 641-661 years during the reign
of Catholicos Nerses. Zvartnots temple or Holy afer Gregory stayed 300 years and was destroyed by a catastrophic earthquake in 930. The ruins of the church were restored in 2000, and it was included in the UNESCO World Heritage list.
